About the event

Sessions will be held Monday nights, starting February 4th, ending April 28th.  You can chose which session location you would like to attend.  Susan Buhler leads the Wounded Heart Book Study on Monday nights at Cornerstone Church in Watertown, SD.  She's a survivor of childhood sexual abuse and is passionate about brining awareness and healing to others.  Susan is married to Bruce and they have five children.  Susan is Activity Director a The Village at Harmony Hill, a Prayer Counselor, on the Board of Directors for Karing Kapers, and the Hope in God Advisory Board.  When not volunteering for something, she enjoys painting, photography, and gardening.

The Wounded Heart sessions in Peever, SD will be lead by Patricia Roth at the Big Coulee District Center.  Patricia is a Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate tribal member and Licenced Addictions Counselor with 13 years experience working in the tribal community.  She has a passion for helping people navigate through their challenges and struggles of daily life, as well as assisting them in overcoming past trauma and working towards recovery.  She is a mother of two sons.  She's lived in Watertown, SD for almost 19 years.  Her hobbies include long-distance running, reading, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
