About the event

Through this training, participants will receive the knowledge and skills needed to make The Art of Shepherding a way of life. This course does not require additional time or resources, only a strong commitment to become the leader God created you to be; to help your organizations become vibrant centers of worship for the glory of God, and to serve your communities by fulfilling the Great Commission—“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you” (Matthew 28:19-20).

Course Goal: To develop strategies for ministers and lay church leaders to effectively build positive ministries and legacies in their communities

Objectives:

To base who you are, and what you do, in the One God

To educate on effective leadership and management strategies

To equip leaders with tools for individual, organizational, and communal change

To discern core values and describe their impact on kingdom culture

To empower individuals with hands-on, useful tools of leadership

To identify tools and resources that promote a positive ministry

To see, listen, and learn from community voices in order to respond effectively to needs
